About Willi Baer
The author of The Care and Feeding of a Non-Profit Board: So You "Wanna" Be a Board Member!, Willi Baer has been involved in the non-profit world since the 1970's, both as a staffer and board member, rising from a coordinator's position to the President/CEO of the local affiliate of two major national non-profits. She has been the recipient of many awards and honors for her work in Nevada and nationally. In 2001 Willi was the only female named one of the top five CEO's in Nevada by Nevada Business Journal and represented the only non-profit organization. She has facilitated board and staff retreats for numerous non-profit organizations and has trained boards across the country from Florida to New York to Hawaii.
Willi is known for her in-depth, "no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is" board training. She is currently president of Unlimited Solutions, a non-profit and donor consulting business.
